In Praise of Simple
I recently stayed in a simple but great cabin nestled in old growth forest overlooking the ocean with the sound of the waves hitting the beach. With such stunning surroundings, it was all about the view and taking in nature. The cabin was only a year old, and simply decorated to enhance what was on the other side of the full height window. Natural post and beam construction, wood floors and cabinetry, slate like tiles, natural coloured carpeting and crisp white linens on the bed. Rustic charm with all of the modern conveniences. We saw eagles and hummingbirds from this deck.
Located on the Westcoast of Vancouver Island next to the mighty Pacific Rim Park. We were only 15 minutes to Long Beach BC.
