My uber talented and creative cousin in England is always involved in the most fascinating projects.
During our very quick visit, she told me of her involvement as a volunteer for a preserved 17th century village run by the Gosport Living History Society. As a living history interpreter, dressed in period costume, they give visitors the experience of rural life in the South of England.
I, of course, was keen to see the preserved village, and I am always interested in how people live and dwellings in general, so what a wonderful opportunity to see…
This is one of two resident foxes – willow – they are in charge of mice control, and are very good at their job. Sorry a little blurry, they are very quick, and I was so excited as I have never seen a fox before.
How to fix wheels would have been important and this gentleman was showing us how.
We also enjoyed card games by a trickster and knitting by his lovely wife.
