I was very fortunate to attend the 2015 RHS Chelsea Flower show, something I have wanted to see a long time. I was in England visiting family and managed to squeeze in attending the day arrived, with only 8 hours in London.
The Great Pavillion is larger than two football fields and is the centrepiece of the show. It houses the best of British nurseries, plant societies, florists and science led institutions as well as displays from around the world.
The magnitude of the displays was unbelievable, masses and masses of flowers such as this display of orchids.
Every flower imaginable, in unusual and wonderful varieties.
One over the top display after another in the Great Pavillion, I cannot express how immense the show is.
I really wanted to take home some of these hydrangea.
Showy displays of clematis in full bloom . Clem-e-tis, not Cle-ma-tis.
My Mum would love all of the iris.
Fantasy inspired floral displays.
I liked this iris display set up as an artists studio.
This is part 1 of 3 of my visit to the 2015 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
I am hosting a Stately Homes Tour of England in 2016 that includes a day attending the RHS Chelsea Flower Show if you are interested please contact me for more information.
