corner OFFICE @ home

An office space is simple to set up in a corner of your home.   I believe the key to making it look beautiful is to use functional home furnishings such as antique writing tables or retro shelving, and to keep in style with the home.  (NO big box office supply furniture here.)

One gorgeous antique desk with an equally elegant chair fits beautifully in a room with a view.

A pretty table is a perfect desk when needed, with shelves for office storage and a retro desk chair.  Move out the chair, lamp and laptop, this corner could easily serve a different function.

Contemporary table with a modern chair tucked in a corner with a phone and a few storage boxes is a perfect little home office spot.

If you require a little more work space, choose furniture that will not visually dominate the room, such as these glass topped tables.

In a traditional space with pretty floral wallpaper, an office area still works well with this smaller scale furniture.

You should always surround your home work space with things you love, no matter what your profession.

Clean and simple lines of this desk and chair quietly complement the existing decor of this condo.

A perfect writing table, that closes up when not in use, has great turned legs and contrasts nicely with the modern chrome legs of the chair.

Again, a simple, modern desk and chair are a perfect home office in front of a sunny window.

Fun and function combine on this desktop with personality.

If you are lucky to have the back part of a small room, using the wallspace to line with bookshelves and positioning the small desk in front of the window is a great use of space for a home office.

Keeping the style of the home office furniture consistant with the style of the home decor is the best way for the entire space to to be cohesive and seamless.

Many people just need a spot to set up a laptop, and this handsome desk looks gorgeous standing alone when not in use.
